Amy Machen has been at BMS for two years but this is her first year teaching sixth grade social studies. Growing up in Odenville Alabama she graduated from St. Claire County High School. Jacksonville State  and Snead State is where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Education. She helps sponsor First Priority. She is also a member if Phi Delta Kappa International.

    Mrs. Machen has 2 golden retrievers: Rusty and K.J, Duchess, a dalmatian, and her beloved mutt Shelley.
