Mrs. Pam Duke

 

                Mrs. Pam Duke is the Instructional Specialist serving all students at B.M.S.  She has been teaching for 36 years.   A graduate from Austin High School, Jacksonville State University, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Huntsville, she holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and English, and a Masters in Supervision/ Education Specialist.  She also holds certification as an education and literacy specialist.

                Mrs. Duke is married to Larry Duke.  She is an noted animal-lover.  She has six cats.  They are named Puss Puss, Black Kitty, Willie, Buffy, Precious, and Maggie.  The Dukes also have twenty-five goldfish.

                An avid exerciser, Mrs. Duke enjoys tennis, cycling, running, kayaking, and swimming.  She holds the Alabama fifty-mile running record.  She ran 102 miles in 24 hours.  She has run the "Strollin' Jim," which is a 42 mile race in Tennessee thirteen times.  She and her husband Larry ride a tandem recumbent bicycle.
